Who Joins the Friends of the MBL?

The Friends of the ������Ƶare ambassadors, acting as a link between the ������Ƶand the public, planning and promoting community lectures and events such as the ������ƵFalmouth Forum and Science Before Supper or serving as tour guides to help others “Discover the MBL.”

Help us bridge the gap across the Eel Pond Bridge and further engage the ������Ƶwith the broader Cape Cod community and beyond.

Supporting Discovery

The Friends of the ������Ƶnot only to inform and educate, but also help raise support for the MBL’s important work. The DISCOVERY FUND helps to fund ALL research and education at the MBL, strengthening every aspect of our mission. It provides tuition support, course materials, and laboratory supplies for the many students and faculty participating in ������Ƶcourses each year. The Discovery Fund also supports MBL’s resident research centers, visiting scientists, and a wide range of fellowships—supplementing grants, investments, and other funding sources.
